The road to the National title has been a long one. By signing-on to be a presenter at Junction on September 23, Tommy became eligible to compete in RAWards, an annual awards show highlighting the best in Fashion, Music, and Art. On October 1, the nationwide digital polls opened and, in the two weeks that followed, over 3,000 artists nationwide were narrowed down to a mere 750. In Orange County, Tommy beat out nearly 70 other visual artists to advance to the Orange County Regional Finals. There, attendees would vote LIVE for the best of 5 artists. In order to raise awareness of the event, Tommy began the RIOT campaign, which used strategically placed logos and t-shirts that read "IF TOMMY LOSES, WE RIOT". The strategy worked, and on November 18th, Sutra Nightclub was flooded with supporters wearing "RIOT" shirts and propelling Tommy to an overwhelming victory.

UPDATE- Unfortunately, Tommy did not win the 2011 Emerging Artist of the Year national title and was only named a runner-up.

Sept, 2011- "Junction" will be held Friday, September 23, 2011 @ 8:00PM at Sutra, 1870 Harbor Boulevard, 92627.

RAW is an independent arts organization that hand-selects and spotlights independent creatives in visual art, film, fashion, music, hair & makeup artistry, photography, models and performing art. RAW events are multi-faceted artistic showcases. Each event features a film screening, musical performance, fashion show, art gallery, performance art and a featured hairstylist and makeup artist. These artists are all local, hand-picked talent who have been chosen to feature at RAW.

RAW events are 21+ and feature a cash bar for cocktails while you enjoy the night. Dress code is cocktail attire, so dress for the occasion and get ready for an artistic circus of creativity!

August 25, 2011- Together We Rise is organizing a charity fashion/art show as a welcome home from the Build-A-Bike tour we just completed across the country that provided bikes to children in group homes! Many local artists and fashion designers will be coming out to showcase their talent while supporting Together We Rise! Attendees will be able to bid on custom painted bikes that will be given to the children and as well as artwork. The funds that are raised from this event will go toward helping foster children.
The event will be hosted by Lights Over Paris, who gained rotation on numerous Top 40 stations throughout the country, on Thursday, August 25 at the Los Serranos Country Club from 7-10pm. **Tickets are on pre-sale now for $15 and the day of the event is $20.**

June 1, 2011- Tommy Orosco was scheduled to have a month-long art show at the Neighborhood Cup in Aliso Viejo this July. However, due to the June artist failing to appear, Tommy has been asked to show in both June and July. Come on out, grab a cup of joe, and check out some of Tommy's new work, including "Death In B-Minor" and "Something Diabolical", or old favorites like "The Elements of My Demise" and "The Awakening". Pieces will be changing in and out every other week for the next 8 weeks.

September 1, 2010-This September, Tommy unveils his unique and highly anticipated new collection entitled “The Dreams of the Desperate”; a colorful interpretation of addiction and love. The collection, which is inspired by music from AFI, Swollen Members, The Used, & Kid Cudi, will be on display from September 2nd through October 4th at the Sandstone Gallery in Laguna Beach, Ca.
The opening night reception on September 2nd is part of the world famous Laguna Beach Art Walk. Come out from 6 to 9pm for refreshments and a chance to meet the artist.

November 5, 2009- Tommy and Motzero Illustrations has been working closely with Tyler Marolf, lead singer of The In Between, to create the album artwork for their self-titled debut album which will release on November 5th. The concept for the piece was the space between death and rebirth, dark and light, and despair and hope. August 21, 2009- Project Ethos and Motzero Illustrations present an art show by Tommy Orosco, one night only, August 21, 2009 at the Avalon & Bardot. 1735 Vine St., Hollywood CA 90028.
Live Concert 8pm- Three musical performances, including Far East Movement, will shake the building and remind us why Ethos knows who is in line for stardom.
Fashion Show at 10pm- A one of a kind fashion show will explode into the famous Avalon Theater.
Art Exhibition All Night- Bardot will be transformed into a haven of visual art displaying the creative genius of ten installations for viewing and purchase.

Tommy impressed enough people at Project Ethos that he was asked to return to Hollywood to show his work at Frequency, an invitation-only event held on the roof of the Kress for select people in the art, fashion, and music industry.

June 26, 2009- Recently, Tommy worked with Roman Alexander & the Robbery to create the cover for their upcoming, self-titled debut album. Along with the cover, Tommy also created the back cover and side panels and lended his talent to the inner photos.
